Outage causes disruption to payments and card transactions
A power outage at Cuscal, our payments partner, occurred early Sunday morning resulting in a lengthy disruption to various payments services, including card payments and NPP transactions.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. When systems outages occur, we make it a priority to contact any impacted member immediately. Unfortunately, we were not notified of the outage until Monday morning, by which time the issue had been resolved.
We can confirm that all systems as of Monday 5 March are stable and operating as normal.
We are working with Cuscal to identify whether any transactions or payments were impacted and will contact any members affected individually. We are also working with Cuscal to ensure that any future communications which impact on our members are more timely and effective.
